Boquete’s climate ranges between 28 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius. Boquete’s soil is super fertile for both flowers and coffee plantations. Most of Boquete’s economy is based on tourism, cow farms and agriculture. Boquete’s agriculture is centered on coffee, citric fruits, vegetables and flowers. Orchid production is particularly important.

One of the biggest tourist events in Boquete is the Fair of the flowers and coffee. The fair takes place at the beginning of January and is considered one of the most important fairs in the whole country.
